We also share the land with God’s beautiful creatures, wild and domestic! The Sisters of the Holy Redeemer enjoying caring for an ever-growing number of animals. Chickens, ducks, and a goose provide fresh eggs while they consume leftover produce and snack on weeds and bugs. The goats delight visitors with their antics and munch on invasive weeds, including poison ivy! And did you know, rabbits provide a wonderful source of organic fertilizer?! Whatever their purpose, these creatures are a source of joy for Sisters and visitors alike.

Additionally, a few individuals tend to bee hives around the gardens. This partnership is essential for the pollination of plants with the benefit of fresh local honey and beeswax candles.
